The admission process in the college usually commences either from last week of June or first week of July. The students are required to buy their admission forms which are enclosed with a booklet which highlights all the necessary details regarding the rules and regulations of the college, subjects offered, fee structure, admission process, facilities available, staff details etc. With the introduction of New Education Policy 2020, the admissions are now done under Choice Based Credit System, in which all the available subjects in the college are divided into three Faculties – Language Faculty having Hindi, English and Sanskrit, Social Sciences Faculty having Economics, History, Education, Sociology, Home-Science, Political-Science, Psychology and Physical Education and Fine Arts Faculty having Drawing and Painting and Music. The students select three major and one minor subject other than one Co-curricular and one Vocational Course. All the rules and regulations prescribed by the Government and University are followed judiciously. The students are given admission but before that they are given free counselling by the teaching staff of the college regarding the subjects best suited for them.
